Most renovation horror stories follow the same plot: too many contractors, nobody managing the sequence, delays waiting on trades, and a homeowner stuck coordinating everything themselves. At Art Edge Construction Ltd, we’re structured to prevent that. We handle framing, drywall, flooring, tile, bathroom installation, kitchen work, and finish carpentry — all in-house. One contract, one point of contact, one crew that shows up when they say they will.
We’ve completed over 500 projects across Edmonton. Full home renovations, basement developments, and multi-room updates. We work on occupied homes and know how to manage construction in a lived-in space.
We handle multi-trade projects with no subcontractor coordination required from you. When your project touches multiple rooms or multiple trades — and most full renovations do — the only number you call is ours.
We give written quotes that don’t change. Scope changes get a written change order with your approval before any additional work begins. The price in your contract is the price you pay for the work as scoped.
We have verified reviews from real Edmonton homeowners. Yvette called us for framing, drywall, insulation, bathroom, and floors — and her whole family now uses Art Edge for every project. Waqas had us finish his basement complete with framing, drywall, flooring, and a full bathroom, on time and within budget. These aren’t cherry-picked outcomes — they’re how we run every job.
We show up. This sounds like a low bar but it isn’t in the Edmonton renovation market. We staff our jobs consistently, communicate delays proactively, and don’t disappear after taking a deposit.
We’re insured and operate professionally. Fully insured for liability and workers’ compensation. We treat your home like a job site — clean daily, respectful of the space outside the work zone, and professional in every interaction.

Phase 1: Consultation and Scope Development We walk every room in scope, discuss your vision and priorities, and identify sequencing requirements. A kitchen, bathroom, and basement finishing project need to be sequenced in the right order — we build that plan before we write the quote.
Phase 2: Written Quote and Contract You receive an itemized written quote covering every phase of work, the sequence, and the timeline. Nothing vague. The contract specifies what is included, what is excluded, and how changes are handled.
Phase 3: Permit Coordination If your project requires permits — and most projects that touch structure, plumbing, or electrical do — we walk you through the process and help you understand what’s required and when inspections are needed.
Phase 4: Construction Demolition first, then rough-in work (framing, any mechanical coordination), then drywall, then flooring and tile, then cabinets and trim, then painting. Each phase is completed cleanly before the next begins.
Phase 5: Completion Walkthrough We walk every completed area with you. Anything that doesn’t meet the standard gets fixed before we close the project.
Renovation costs vary significantly by scope. These are honest ranges based on current Edmonton market rates.
Single-room renovation (bathroom or kitchen): $12,000–$45,000 depending on room size and finish level.
Basement development (full finish, 700–1,000 sq ft): $25,000–$55,000.
Multi-room renovation (basement + bathroom + flooring): $45,000–$85,000.
Full home interior renovation (multiple rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, flooring throughout): $80,000–$200,000+.
We provide written itemized quotes for every project. We don’t provide ballpark phone estimates — accurate pricing requires seeing the space.
We renovate homes across Edmonton — southwest including Windermere and Terwillegar, south including Ellerslie and Heritage Valley, central including Glenora and Strathcona, north including Castle Downs and Lago Lindo, and east including Mill Woods and Beverly. We also serve Sherwood Park, St. Albert, Spruce Grove, and Leduc.
Ask for three things before signing with any Edmonton renovation contractor:
References from completed projects in the last 12 months. Not testimonials on their website — actual phone numbers for clients willing to take a call. A contractor with nothing to hide will provide this immediately.
A written, itemized quote. Line by line. Any contractor offering a verbal estimate or a single-number quote with no breakdown is leaving themselves room to add costs mid-project.
Proof of insurance. Request the certificate of insurance naming you (or your address) as an additionally insured party during the project. Any legitimate contractor carries this and provides it without hesitation.
We provide all three, every time, before any contract is signed.
A single-room renovation runs 1 to 3 weeks. Multi-room renovations including a basement, kitchen, and bathrooms run 6 to 14 weeks depending on scope and permit timing. We give you a specific timeline in your written quote.
